Rpg Maker Xp Connecting To Activation Server
I have attempted several different times to contact technical support with this issue and I am beginning to get very frustrated here.I was given RPG Maker VX ACE as a gift from my girlfriend. She bought the box set edition. I have installed it without a hitch and have tried several different things to activate it.
I have deactivated my firewall on both my computer and router, I have opened all the ports on my router, I have tried using a different internet connection, I have tried using several different proxies. None of this has fixed the issue, and when I contacted tech support about it all they would say was that I did show up in their records as having bought a copy of the program with an product key matching the one I gave them and that is it.I was really looking forward to using this program and I want to get it to work, but tech support doesn't seem to be helping at all. Does anyone else have any ideas or recommendations? I am willing to try nearly anything at this point. I don't want my girlfriends money to have been wasted on a 'pretty box'.
This 'club' is getting somewhat big. Yes, i've also had these issues, but the proxy thing worked for me, and i got the trial for VX, even though i was aiming for XP first. It took me 10 to 20 different proxies. Though one thing i would like to mention is that in Mako's it says to use port 80. What you really want to do is use the port the proxy is using, be it 80, 7080, 8080, or some other number. The proxy i used had appeared and used port 7080, so dont give up.Although i will say that activation should not need a proxy, especially since this is a high price product, where you can ultimately make games to show others, and if im not mistaken, for even more money cost, one is able to sell the games made. But i might had read something incorrectly.Regardless of that, i would like to know why this activation issue appears, and even when it can be bypassed or doesnt appear, why is it that there are those who try to activate the trial version, only for it to say they did 30 days ago even when its been only a couple days, or even no days since trying?

Sorry i was a bit vague. Basically i own rpg maker vx ace on another computer.
That computer now no longer works, So i wanted to install it on my new computer.I installed the demo from the home page is there a way for me to activate my previous account so i don't have to buy it again.and that is all i did i only downloaded the demo thnking i could enter my account info to get the full thing. And im stuck there.Never mind i did some research and found out that you need to pay again if you want to install the program on another computer.
