It's also not arcade-accurate.In other news, trophies for Garou: Mark of the Wolves appeared which means the Last Blade 2-style arcade-accurate port is about to release, with really solid online.If they release a Samurai Shodown on PS4 in that manner, and I really hope they do, I would want nothing less than Samurai Shodown 2. It's the pinnacle of the series and nothing else captures the feeling and atmosphere of that game.
I'll settle for SamSho V Special, I think those NeoGeo owners got enough exclusivity time at this point.Perhaps the release of specifically VI over Anthology means they might do a real port of one of the games. SamSho 6 is garbage.I was so disappointed with Samurai Shodown Anthology when I bought it on the Wii. I loved SamSho 2 on the Virtual Console, so I figured a 6-game compilation would be great. Yet here I was with:- A game that is just inferior to SS2 (SamSho 1)- 3 games that are all okay/good but feel very different from 2 with fairly obscure/confusing changes in gameplay mechanics; 5 is my favorite of the bunch IIRC- The latest entry, which sounds great on paper because it's got all the characters and it's the latest entry, but somehow manages to feel really off and unfun.Samurai Shodown is a series that's never quite managed to settle on an identity, it seems. And it's too bad, cause SamSho 2 is legendary.
