I am currently a tech who uses Autotask, Quotewerks, Continuum, and more services similar to that on a daily basis. My boss recently brought up to me a problem he had that I would like some help solving. Here's the issue. Our typical inventory consists of items such as desktops, laptops, monitors, cables/wires, and other technical related items. Instead of having to manually add everything into Autotask I know it is possible to upload excel sheets using their template to sort of 'batch' upload your inventory. However, this is still a very tedious process that can take literal days to complete even by using an excel spreadsheet. This brings us to the fact that now we are looking into Barcode Scanning services that can make the process of typing everything automated.
