Eileen, originally from China, uses a Monkey Kung-Fu fighting style that she learned from her grandfather, a former Kung-Fu master. Players are able to customize their characters by selecting from four uniquely patterned costumes and a wide range of attachable items that can be placed onto each fighter’s various body parts. Virtua Fighter 5 delivers fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping action as players head into battle, taking on a host of popular characters. Players not only achieve victory by defeating highly-skilled opponents, but also by competing for prizes which earn them in-game money allowing them to buy many items at in-game shop. These items allow players to customize their ultimate warrior and become the top Virtua Fighter.
In addition, the game introduces 'Offensive Move', a new maneuver that allows players to easily approach opponents from the side, adding a more strategic element to the battle. The game supports 720p HD resolution.
Sega Expand. I was a fan of VF4 right when it came out. I think VF5 has great graphics and all the gameplay of Virtua Fighter 4. Some of the character I was a fan of VF4 right when it came out. I think VF5 has great graphics and all the gameplay of Virtua Fighter 4. Some of the character materials and animations seem too close to VF4.

But this is a good version of Virtua Fighter. This one installs to the PS3 and there is no online updates. The game just works. It has some cool customizations. I'm not sure if the AI mode is on here. The new characters are OK.
This is a non-buggy fighting game with good graphics. To appreciate the game you must kind of dance against the A.I. And learn a few combos. Then it gets pretty fun. Its not a unbalanced fighter like MK and SF. This was the first 3d fighter and they did it justice through 5 versions, which is not true for other Sega games! I'm glad I picked this up.
This is better than most of the free online fighters, and sword fighters. If you are a Sega fan or fighting fan, just pick this one up!
It's pretty sad that sony's so called killer-app first party titles(resistance, motorstorm), can be so easily I must say. It's pretty sad that sony's so called killer-app first party titles(resistance, motorstorm), can be so easily dethroned by a third party fighting game- which in my opinion is not a great game! Overall this is a decent game, but nothing to get excited about. If you played any of the previous games all you will notice is the graphic bump up, and the animation bump up. The other modes don't really make the game stand out to me.
A full 14 years after Virtua Fighter gave birth to the whole 3D fighting scene,Sega's franchise remains the most respectable way to get your face smashed in at the local arcade. While button-mashing noobs can achieve a modicum of success at the Tekkens and Mortal Kombats of the world, a skilled VF player can eviscerate uninitiated foes in seconds flat. This latest installment, VF5, doesn't tinker with the winning formula much at all-two new competitors, agile Mexican luchador El Blaze and spunky Monkey-Fist gal Eileen, join the diverse returning cast for another round of realistic 1-on-1 martial-arts action.Looking back at the previous arcade-to-console VF ports, you'll notice that none of them truly replicate their coin-op cousin. VF4 and VF4: Evolution (both for PS2) came awfully close-visually, these games suffered only a slight downgrade during the trip home, and a bevy of new, clever singleplayer modes helped extend the games' appeal. But this VF finally matches the arcade version's good looks and, as expected, includes a large supply of additional features.
'With the technological capabilities of the PS3, we really think we did a great job making it look exactly like the arcade version,' explains VF5 Producer Noriyuki Shimoda. 'Plus, we were able to add some features that are not included in the arcade version, such as the commentary mode and quest mode.'
Commentary mode adds real-time play-by-play by two announcers to either single or versus play. Some might find these quips a bit distracting, but the often funny and insightful wordplay actually personalizes the proceedings while dishing up trash-talking fodder. The quest mode brings back all the best aspects of VF4's beloved single-player game (A.I. Opponents based on top VF players, plenty of tournaments to complete, and oodles of unlock-able outfits and accessories).Sadly, fans' most requested feature-online play-isn't a possibility here. 'Our stance still remains firm in regard to online play,' Shimoda explains. 'We are really focusing on making this game the perfect arcade conversion, which is unfortunately not possible with complete online yet because of the latency issues.' Couldn't we at least have some sort of online lea-derboard system to help expand our VF5 bragging rights?
Maybe that'll show up exclusively in the 360 version, which is due out this summer. Netop vision pro 7.5 crack 1.
